It's time to appease the FSM.

th_FSM3d

It is obvious we have angered the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes are all part of his wrath for our sins and our porr judgment in election Presidents. We need to get back into his good graces so here's what I propose -

We make Friday - "Go to work or school dressed as a Pirate" day.
Maybe then we can induce the FSM to again embrace us in his great, noodly appendage.

Go here for more FSM details.

I know people that have real parrots, that might be cool.
Oh, except for the parrot poop down the back, that could turn into an embarrassing social faux pas.

I loved reading the books.
I'm always worried when I hear that a movie is being made based on a book I loved.
The World According To Garp was one of the best movies made based on a book I liked.
Interview With A Vampire was one of the worst.
I'm very nervous as I've heard they're making a movie of A Confederacy Of Dunces. If you haven't read that book, read it, it is one of the best ever.

Dunces is good but I shudder to think of it as a movie..... casting for Ignacious will be critical. Jack Black?

I can't imagine who they'd get.
I was thinking maybe they'd get some talented unknown guy - that way he wouldn't bring any extra baggage to the role.
The thing that really worried me was I'd heard Drew Barrymore was producing it.
I'm feeling much trepidation.

When I finished that book about a year ago, right after that I'd heard they are making a movie about it. I think Drew Barrymore will have something to do with the project, although I think it was more along the line of producing it.? One of the problems I'd read in this article back then, was they said they were having a problem casting for Ignacious. Or, they said who they were getting and I thought it was such a bad match-that I completely obliterated the memory. It's one or the other, I'm sure.

The timing of a release of that-if soon would be interesting, as it takes place in New Orleans.-If they were filming on location, however, things might be on hold for awhile....

Excuse me brothers but all devout followers of FSM know that friday is a holy day in which we don't work. And I quote "Every friday is a relgious holiday. If your work/school objects to that, demand your religious beliefs are respected and threaten to call the ACLU. "
